About the project

In a rapidly changing part of the city of Raleigh, a site- specific installation about dreaming (and the paths we take to actualize our ideas). Designed to offer different reads at different times of day. Light patterns respond to traffic activity and motion in the vicinity and citywide, along paths between historically and culturally significant and transitioning areas. Sleeper is a marker and an imperfect mirror of change in the city.
